2005 Chanson Père et Fils Côte de Beaune Villages (France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Côte de Beaune Villages) 02/02/2013
Funky, funky... Well, at this point what somebody considered rusticity has been transformed in a delicious bottle, meaty and earthy with that plus that 2005 is still giving.
Medium bodied on the palate. Recommended.
Bueno, en este momento lo que alguno consideraba rusticidad ha sido transformado en una botella deliciosa, cárnica y terrosa con ese añadido que el 2005 todavía está dando.
De cuerpo medio en boca. Recomendada.

Fully mature colour. Totally resolved to a brownish one.
Tears to be crying all day long
What a nose! Complex to the bone of garrige beans, milky chocolate and clove among many others. Definitively a perfume.
More austere on the palate, as the Chateaux wants to reefier, acid still but without that aromas exuberance. Just good at best.
Quite ready in my modest opinion.
Unquestionably an outstanding bottle but only because that nose.
Color plenamente maduro. Totalmente resuelto hacia uno amarronado.
Piernas para servir cafés en Santiago de Chile.
¡Pedazo de nariz! Compleja a más no poder con aromas a algarrobas, chocolate con leche y clavo entre otros. Definitivamente un perfume.
En boca más austero, como al propio Chateaux le gusta referirse, todavía ácido pero sin la exhibe rancia que aportaban esos aromas. En lo mejor solo bueno.
Bastante listo en mi modesta opinión.
Incuestionablemente una botella fuera de lo común pero solo por esa nariz.

Plenty Syrah nose, I mean those typical aromas including some asphaltic, some mineral -coal- and pastry shop but at the potent side.
Palate showed same tendencies, hence potent and little rustic for its origins. Piquant, sharped and dense at its best moments. For the rest watery texture and acid.
Some sediments when finish in a bottle of such category. Bad thing.
Violeta hasta el final, absolutamente madura para una Cote de Rotie del 98 pero todavía con recorrido.
Nariz plenamente a Syrah, quiero decir esos aromas asfálticos, minerales -carbón- y a pastelería pero del lado potente.
En boca mostró las mismas tendencias, así potente pero un poco rústica por sus orígenes. En sus mejores momentos, picante, afilada y densa. Para el resto de textura acuosa y ácida.
En una botella de semejante categoría algunos sedimentos al terminar. Mala cosa....

2009 Joseph Drouhin Bourgogne Laforet (France, Burgundy, Bourgogne) 29/01/2013
Even at the lowest level Drouhin don't bring you down. Trustable negociant.
Easy drink , nothing complicated here just a light, suave colour for a fruit driven nose.
Smoothie palate, ready to pair food.
Incluso al nivel más bajo, Drouhin no te deja tirado. Un negociante en el que confiar.
Nada complicado aquí, fácil de beber sólo un color ligero, suave para una nariz fiscalizada en la fruta.
Paladar suavecito, lista para acompañar comida.
Easy drink , nothing complicated here just a light, suave colour for a fruit driven nose.

Incluso al nivel más bajo, Drouhin no te deja tirado. Un negociante en el que confiar.
Nada complicado aquí, fácil de beber sólo un color ligero, suave para una nariz fiscalizada en la fruta.

2007 J. Confuron-Cotetidot Bourgogne (France, Burgundy, Bourgogne) 27/01/2013
As Luis Gutiérrez, the Profet, used to say, these cold vintages make you salivate.
My modest opinion and experience, things are a bit different: If cold then avoid. What many call a cold vintage, want to say poor vintage.
This generic bottle isn't an exception.
After five years showed decolorated, little turbid and pale.
On the nose also reserved, rotten rose petals maybe.
Unexpected highish acid? Just kidding, salivation to the end. Little bitterness when finish.
I haven't any doubt about Confuron family, Cotetidot branch included. I always trust in a people using those high quality corks even in these generic bottles of 'cold vintages' like this.
Not bad at all pairing 'Korean hoe'.
Como solía decir Luis Gutiérrez, el Profeta, estas añadas frías te hacen salivar.
Tanto en mi opinión como experiencia, las cosas son un poco diferentes: si fría, entonces evítala. Que lo que muchos llaman fría, quieren decir pobre. Esta botella genérica no es una excepción.
Después de cinco años se mostraba decolorada, un pico turbia y pálida.
En nariz algo reservada, quizás pétalos de rosa podridos.
¿Inesperada alta acidez? Sólo bromeo, salivando hasta el final, un poco de amargor al acabar.
No guardo ninguna duda respecto a los Confuron, incluida la rana Cotetidot.
Siempre confió en la gente que usa corchos de alta calidad incluso con sus botellas genéticas de "añadas frías" como está.
No mal del todo maridando "hoe coreano"

Well the most noticeable aspect was the bottle had some life inside specially if consider that low quality shop with strong heating where is coming from.
Hence a brownish colour preceded an apple aroma among a reduced ones.
Palate showed some acidity and class but too few to mention
At this point, avoid.

Así un color amarronado predecía a un aroma a manzana que destacaba entre otros muchos reducidos.

2010 Viña Cono Sur Pinot Noir 20 Barrels (Chile, Casablanca Valley) 24/01/2013
First of all people of Cono Sur, why to denominate 20 barrels when this wine is coming from a place called El Triángulo? You guys want to imitate Burgundy, don't you? Then to start creating some in style seems to be a good idea. It is simple marketing
About the bottle, limpid ruby colour for a fresh, red cherries and raspberries nose. Barrels (wood) are also there but not disturbing at all.
Gliceric mouthfeel, smoky on the palate and little short in acidity and length.
Despite I don't think this had the potential, I would like in 3 plus years.
Pairing a pepperoni Domino's pizza (a very good one) at Gran Hilton in Seoul (unpolite staff and service)
Antes de nada, gente de Cono Sur, ¿porqué denominarla 20 Barrels cuando procede de un sitio llamado El Triángulo? ¿Queréis imitar a la Borgoña, verdad? Pues comenzar estableciendo algo de estilo no parece mala idea. Es simple marketing.
Sobre la botella, de un límpido color rubí para una fresca nariz a cerezas rojas y frambuesas. Los barriles están ahí pero no molestan.
Sensación en boca glicérica. ahumada en boca y un poco corta de acidez y recorrido.
Me gustaría probarla en más de tres años pese a que creo que no tiene el potencial
Acompañando a una pizza de pepperoni de Domino ( una buena) en el Grand Hilton de Seoul (de unpersonal maleducado y carente de servicio).
