This is an outstanding bottle, specially coming from a minor vintage like 2007 so it will be an extraordinary in years like 2010.
Profound cherry colour.
Intoxicating nose of strawberries, sweet ham, ashes and smoked meat. Delicious!
Palate has that brisk factor we love, fine acidity with a good length.
Bordeaux critic writers are rich indeed but money can't buy this truth. Rioja examples are getting higher than many Gironda wines.

Entendiendo que la industria del vino es, sobretodo, un negocio mundial y que la rivalidad es un factor esencial y sino estás bebiendo estos te puedo asegurar que te estás perdiendo algo.
Es una botella fuera de lo común, también moderna pero con el mismo estilo de siempre sobretodo sabiendo que procede de una añada menor como es el 2007 así que será extraordinario en el 2010.
Color cereza picota.
Nariz intoxicada de fresas, jamón dulce, cenizas y carne ahumada. ¡Deliciosa!
En boca tiene ese factor vigorizante que amamos, acidez fina y un buen recorrido.
Los especialistas en Burdeos son sin duda ricos pero el dinero no puede comprar esta verdad: los ejemplos de Rioja están por encima de muchos vinos del Gironda.

Stunning bottle at Restaurant Asador Concepción, Albacete.
Classic GR in every sense: colour, nose and mouth.
Brownish, clean colour with orange edges.
Wonderful nose of apple pie, marzipan, humid basement, nougat, animal fur even. So much lovely, so much complex.
Similar echoes on the palate, good acidity and supreme digestibility. Think it was just 12.5 eighteen years ago so now it is soft and very pleasant to drink.
Rioja GR at its best. Life is too short to miss this stuff.

Botella despampanante del Asador Concepción de Albacete.
Gran Reserva clásico en color, nariz y boca.
Color amarronado claro con ribetes naranja.
Maravillosa nariz con pastel de manzana, mazapán, sótano húmedo, turrón, incluso pelo animal. Tan rico, tan complejo.
Parecidos ecos en boca, buena acidez y suprema digestibilidad. Piensa que era solo de 12,5 hace 18 años y ahora es suave y muy placentero de beber.
Un GR de Rioja en lo mejor. La vida es muy corta como para perderse esto.

Celebrating today is much better than yesterday.
Light limpid salmon colour with watery rims (Please, pay attention to that in your glass)
Nice nose of petals, butter and cherries.
Same echoes on the palate. Very good bottle.
Totally agree, great for 21 euros.

Celebrando que hoy es mucho mejor que ayer.
Limpio y ligero color salmón con bordes acuosos (Por favor, míralo en tu copa)
Rica nariz con pétalos, mantequilla y cerezas.
Los mismos ecos en boca. Una botella muy buena.
Totalmente de acuerdo, grande para 21 euros.

2006 Domaine Heresztyn Bourgogne (France, Burgundy, Bourgogne) 17/09/2012

From this underrated yet always open vintage, a new great bottle.
Mature cherry colour.
Lovely earthy nose of dusty cherries, some fresh mint notes, red current and forrest floor.
Watery texture on the palate, smooth finish with an excellent grip. Perfect for a Secreto Ibérico dish.
If you don't know what to do with your Burgundy 2006 bottles, please just give me a ring. Shame for some critics.

A pesar de tratarse de una añada infravalorada y que siempre se muestra abierta, una nueva gran botella.
Color picota madura.
Maravillosa nariz terrosa a cerezas polvorientas, algunas notas a menta fresca, moras rojas y sotobosque.
Textura acuosa en boca, de final suave con un buen agarre. Perfecto para in Plato de Secreto Ibérico.
Sino sabes que hacer con tus botellas de Borgoña 2006, dame un toque. Vergüenza para algunos críticos.

That red colour I really appreciate.
Very long legs, quite rich and alcoholic yet it is easy to drink.
Flamboyant nose with cherry-coke, plums and mineral notes.
Palate is totally resolved and has potential to age very well.
Rioja Grenache, modern style.

Tiene ese color rojo que me encanta.
Lágrimas muy vivas, bien abundante y alcohólico a pesar de que se deja beber.
Rimbombante nariz con cola de cereza, ciruelas y notas minerales.
En boca se muestra resuelto y tiene potencial para envejecer bien.
Garnacha de la Rioja de estilo moderno.
