Profound golden colour
Full aromatic nose with lychees, ripe pineapple, ginger, apricots, pears, ... amazing aromas.
Dry? Well, Pretty sweet and with a long aftertaste, good length.
At this level, a very good Gtraminer after all.

Color dorado profundo.
Nariz plenamente aromática con lichis, piña madura, jengibre, albaricoques, peras, ... aromas deliciosos.
¿Seca? Bueno bien dulce con un largo postgusto y una buena persistencia.
En este nivel, después de todo un buen Gtraminer.

1998 Poderi Aldo Conterno Langhe Nebbiolo Il Favot (Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Langhe DOC) 28/02/2012

For the Holders, need a long breath.
Perfect bricking colour for a 14 years old bottle.
Red fruits? Nowhere. What we have here is tobacco, leather, roasted meat, rosemary among many heady aromas. All what Nebbiolo is about.
Palate was more flat (only wild strawberries) yet acidic without any trace of aggressive tannins but who cares with that terrific nose?
How much I miss to smoke when enjoying bottles like this. Aghhhh

Para una botella de 14 años, un color aladrillado perfecto.
¿Frutos rojos? En ninguna parte. Lo que tenemos aquí es tabaco, cuero, carne asada, tomillo entre muchos aromas embriagadores. De esto va la Nebbiolo.
En boca era más plana (solo fresas salvajes) aunque ácida sin trazas de taninos agresivos ero ¿ A quién le importa con semejante nariz?
Cuanto echo de menos fumar cuando disfruto de botellas como esta.

2007 Bodegas Beronia Graciano Rioja Colección Varietales (Spain, La Rioja, Rioja) 27/02/2012

This isn't an extraordinary vintage. We can admitted. That is a fact but there is not discussion 2007 is a very good year, not only for the Reserva range, do you know that point John Radford & Smartie team? So so funny...
This Cosecha still presents a vivid red colour, a cornucopia of ahead aromas and an elegant palate.
All of these elements together in a Cosecha bottle. Had to remember it.
Good flavors backing home.

No es una cosecha extraordinaria. Podemos admitirlo. Es un hecho pero sin discusión 2007 es un muy buen año, no solo para los Reservas, ¿ Lo sabéis John Radford y equipo de listos? Tan tan divertido...
Este Cosecha todavía presenta un vívido color rojo, una cornucopia de aromas embriagadora y un paladar elegante.
Todos estos elementos juntos en una botella cosechera. Tenía qué recordarlo.
Buenos sabres de regreso a casa.

So much I loved Penny and Baltimore.
Gettysburg was a different history: Impressed by that battlefield, by Lee actittude during that fright, so many people inolved in Gettysburg, how important was territory factor.

Capital of the World? Of course it is! Place where you can find everything? Who is denying that fact?
Best  place in Earth? Oh no sorry  Charming city? For me is nothing. Really like for what it is but prefer that variety before that boring monotony...

2008 Sebastiani Vineyards & Winery Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma County (USA, California, Sonoma County) 25/02/2012

Thinking I was buying a bargain, pick this one. What a mistake.
Cherry colour in the middle turning into violet at the edges.
Nose is as many others USA Cabs, oaky, fruity and well-known. No idea where that Sonoma County touch could be.
On the palate more of the same, boring Without a real personality.
Short and with tamed tannins.
To be or not to be from Alexander Valley makes the difference. Who knows...
Roast beef slices and a German potato salad were clearly superior.

Pensando que compraba un chollo, pillé esta. Menudo error.
Color cereza en medio volviéndose violeta en los ribetes.
La nariz es como la de muchos CS americanos: amaderada, afrutada y bien conocida. Ni idea de dónde su pudo quedar del toque del Condado de Sonoma.
En boca más de lo mismo, aburrido sin una personalidad de verdad.
Corto y con unos taninos ya domados.
Ser o no ser del Valle Alexander hace la diferencia. Quien sabe
Claramente superiores las rodajas de roastbeef y la ensalada alemana de patatas.

2010 Bogle Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc (USA, California) 24/02/2012

Topically citrus colour.
Nose was frank, full of lemony aromas.
Palate is absolutely refreshing, short yet bitter aftertaste.
Lack of depth and class but whom cares when it is so cheap?
Conclusion? Well it is a honest, effective and well-made SB.
Matched perfectly well with food took away from Aki restaurant, 720 2nd Ave. NYC
What a value, both bottle and jap food.

Color tópicamente a cítricos.
La nariz era franca, llena de aromas alimonados.
Absolutamente refrescante la boca con un postgusto corto aunque amargo.
Carece de clase o de profundidad pero ¿a quien le importa cuando es tan barato?
¿ Una conclusión? Bueno, es un SB honesto, efectivo y bien realizado.
Perfectamente maridado con comida del restaurante Aki, 720 de la 2da Av. NYC
Ambos menudo valor, botella y comida japonesa.
